COVID-19 Policy
We are all continuing to be very mindful of the COVID-19 context at present and the health and wellbeing of patients is important to me. The COVID-19 regulations have changed from time to time with respect to whether face masks are compulsory indoors. In accordance with Victorian Department of Health & Human Services regulations at the time of your appointment, I will advise you if face masks are required. However, during periods where masks are not required, you should feel free to wear a mask if this is your preference. If you would like me to wear a mask also, I am happy to do so if you let me know prior to your appointment.
Access to telehealth appointments have now been made a permanent part of the Medicare rebates system. If telehealth is your preference, we can discuss whether this would be appropriate at the time of arranging an appointment.
Please do not attend your appointment if you, or person(s) attending with you: (1) are unwell with cold/flu-like symptoms; or (2) are awaiting results for a COVID-19 test. If either of these apply to you, please contact me to arrange a telehealth appointment instead, or to reschedule.
If you are considered a close contact under the Victorian Department of Health & Human Services guidelines, please follow the checklist provided via the Coronavirus Victorian website: https://www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/im-a-covid-case-contact
Please be aware that if you attend the practice with cold/flu-like symptoms, we will need to postpone your appointment to a later date.
